About Us

Greek life is an amazing opportunity to become involved with our large University and San Diego community as well. It offers life experience that you will be able to use day to day in everything you do and as a whole will teach lessons that cannot be found in the classroom.

Sorority life teaches college women the necessary life lessons to uphold a G.P.A. above the school’s average while balancing campus involvement, work, friends, and social activities. The Greek community offers a place to feel comfortable as you grow throughout your college experience.

Joining a sorority may add to your busy schedule, but the time spent becoming involved in your chapter is priceless. Opportunities and activities such as holding an office, attending social events, playing on an intramural sports team, or volunteering for outside community service are just some of the many aspects of Greek life. There is no substitute for the countless memories that come with joining a sorority; it is full of new experiences and friends that will help make your college experience unforgettable!

    What is the Panhellenic Association?

The Panhellenic Association is the governing body of (inter)National sororities which came into existence at SDSU in 1949. Panhellenic is established to further intellectual achievement and scholarship, promote intersorority relations, and to foster education and awareness of members.

Panhellenic's Greek letters, Chi Theta Beta, stand for Executive Office Board.

The SDSU Panhellenic council is comprised of nine sororities that are housed adjacent to campus.

    National Panhellenic Conference Creed

We, as Undergraduate Members of women's fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.

We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.
